Welcon is a frontrunner in manufacturing towers for offshore wind turbines. Welcon is looking for dedicated individuals for our Quality Control division. Our production facility in Give contributes to over 50% of offshore towers worldwide, thanks to our unwavering commitment to delivering quality products on schedule.
As we continue to expand, Welcon is looking to strengthen its Operational Quality Control team by adding three additional employees to support our Finish Department. This department represents the final phase before surface treatment. Here, we aim to elevate our quality control processes to eliminate errors and ensure impeccable outcomes.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be an integral part of a 10-person team responsible for exact quality control processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Precision measurement of flanges using laser technology, ranging from Ø3.000-Ø10.000 and larger in future projects.
- Examination of specialized flanges, wedge flanges, complex structures, and other intricate components.
- Verifying the placement, quantity, and alignment of bushes and brackets for internal structures.
- Thorough completion of Quality documentation to meet customer requirements and ensure necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
We expect candidates to possess the following:
- Reliability and consistent attendance.
- Demonstrate trust, respect, and discipline in the workplace.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Competence in IT as per provided instructions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within the Welcon organization.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a day shift profile with the following schedule: 6 AM to 6 PM, six days a week, on a two-week rotation.
